Conditions We Treat

Shoulder Pain

Description

The shoulder is the most mobile joint in the body, able to rotate in all different directions. However, it has given up stability for movement which means it is susceptible to injury.

Prolonged sitting, muscle imbalance, heavy lifting, sports injuries, accidents or general wear and tear can all cause pain and stiffness in the shoulder. This can stop you using your arm in daily tasks and cause a lot of pain and discomfort. Your shoulder is attached to your chest and often we find that shoulder problems are related to your neck and upper back and chest, which are often painful too.

At Physiotherapy Ltd we can provide a full assessment to identify the cause of your symptoms and then provide a bespoke treatment plan to help your shoulder on the road to recovery.
