As you may be aware, we had to close our clinics back in March due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

Since then we have been following the government guidelines and preparing for our reopening.

We are now able to offer virtual appointments to all clients. That means that if you are self-isolating, shielding, can't or for whatever reason don't want to come into the clinic for physiotherapy, then we can provide a virtual appointment on a given date and time. If you would still prefer a face to face appointment these are available under the government guidelines.

Due to the nature of our business we already had strict hygiene procedures in place, so we have only had to add a few extra precautions to make the clinic Covid-19 secure.

From Monday 6th July we will be opening our Sunderland clinic only. We will be opening on reduced hours and with only 1 therapist working at the clinic at any one time.

We will have limited appointments available this is to make sure that all cleaning can be done between each client and to make sure there is no contact between clients.

For the time being you will only be able to get an appointment through phone, text or email. We have temporarily stopped the online booking to help us manage the appointments. As we are not back to work yet there may be a delay in answering your phone call, email or text. We will get back to you as soon as possible.

If you do wish to come into the clinic there will be a few changes that you need to be aware of:

Please arrive at your appointment time and not before.
Only 1 person will be allowed into the clinic unless you need physical help getting into the clinic
Hand washing and/or the use of hand gel will be required before entering the treatment room.
You will be required to sign a consent form at each appointment.
Temperature checks will be made at entry to the clinic.
We ask for contactless payment where possible.
All members of staff will be wearing the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for their job role.

We ask that if you or any of your household have had any symptoms of Covid-19 (high temperature, new continuous cough or loss of smell/taste) within the past 21 days please rearrange your appointment and do not attend the clinic.

We will keep everyone updated on when we will reopen our Houghton clinic once we know.
